Anne and Hanneli Goslar playing on the Merwedeplein square, May 1940. Anne is then nearly eleven years old.
The exhibition is opened by Hannah Pick-Goslar, a friend and classmate of Anne Frank.
Hannah Pick-Goslar, now 83, talks of her friendship with Anne. The friends first meet at nursery school, and speak to each other for the last time in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Hannah survives the camp, and emigrates to Israel after the war.
