The Montessori school
June 1935. Anne is six years old. She is sitting in the middle at the back wearing a white dress. There are thirty children in her class. As far as is known, fifteen of them are Jewish. Nine of them will not survive the Holocaust.
When Anne is four, the Frank family emigrates to the Netherlands. They find an apartment on the Merwedeplein square in Amsterdam. Anne goes to the local Montessori school.
