I want to visit the Anne Frank House.

From 9 AM to 3:30 PM the museum will only be open to visitors with an online ticket for a particular timeslot. From 3:30 PM until closing time you can visit the Anne Frank House without an online ticket and buy a ticket at the museum entrance.

According to the website there aren’t any tickets left. Does the system work well?

Tickets for the Anne Frank House are not available on the website until two months in advance. New tickets are released every day during Dutch office hours. The Anne Frank House is a small museum with limited capacity. The demand for tickets is far greater than the number available. If you are unable to buy an online ticket, you can always buy a ticket from the museum ticket office in the afternoons or evenings. The Anne Frank House is open from 3.30 pm until closinf time for visitors who do not have an online ticket.

I don't have a credit card. Can I still buy tickets online?

Unfortunately we can currently only accept credit card payments online.

Why does my computer display a message saying I did not complete my transaction in time?
You have 15 minutes to complete a transaction. If you receive an error message and you think that 15 minutes have not passed, it may be that you need to set your browser to accept 'cookies'. In Internet Explorer, you can do that by clicking on 'Preferences' and then on 'Internet Options'. Then select the Privacy tab, and then Advanced. Select the 'Disable automatic cookie processing' option, and then select 'Always allow cookies for each session'. Then click twice on OK to save your changes and exit the menu.

I’ve bought a ticket for the wrong date. Can I change it for the right date or get my money back?

No, we’re sorry, that is not possible. When you bought the ticket you agreed to the visitors’ conditions. These state that tickets cannot be changed or refunded but they are valid on another day. On the day you want to visit the museum, you can wait in the queue at the museum with your ticket. You will not have to buy a new ticket at the entrance. The Anne Frank House is open from 3.30 pm until closing time for visitors who do not have an online ticket.

I’ve bought a ticket and the money has been deducted from my bank account but I haven’t received confirmation.

We’ve discovered that providers in a number of countries block our emails confirming ticket purchases. We are trying hard to find a solution to this. Would you kindly send us your name, email address and the date of your visit to the Anne Frank House? We will then send a new confirmation to you. Please send these details to contact. Our apologies for this.

If no money has been deducted from your bank account, we have unfortunately not received your reservation.

I am coming to the museum with a group. Do we have to show separate tickets for each of us?
Yes, each ticket is only valid for one entry, and all tickets have to be checked separately.

Can I also enter the museum using a copy of my ticket?
Yes, you can enter the museum with a copy of your ticket. Every ticket carries a unique barcode that is scanned at the entry desk. Each barcode is valid for one entry. After the barcode has been scanned (or its number has been entered) the ticket can no longer be used to gain admission.

It is not possible to reserve online tickets by email.
