What do I need to make an online reservation?
You need a credit card to make your payment, a printer to print out your reservation confirmation, and an email address to receive your confirmation email.

What if my group is larger than the maximum of 35 people?
If your group is made up of more than 35 people, you should split up the group and make two or more reservations.

Is it possible to come with two groups at the same time?
No, if you are coming with more than one group you should make a separate reservation, at a separate time, for each group.

There are hardly any times left available for my planned date. Are the programs really fully booked, or are there any other possibilities to make a reservation?
You can see exactly what times are still available on our website. If your planned times are no longer available, you can always buy entrance tickets at the entrance desk of the Anne Frank House. Please note that it is not possible to book a program at the entrance desk.

How can I make more than one reservation?
You can make additional reservations on the last page of the reservation system. You don't have to fill in your details again.

If I book an introductory programme, do I have to reserve entry tickets separately?
No, you pay for your entrance tickets when you arrive at the museum.

Can I pay for my program reservation on account?
No, you can only pay for your program online with a credit card. You pay for the entrance tickets for your group at the museum entry desk, where you can pay by PIN card, credit card or in cash.

Do I have to wait in the queue if I have booked an introductory programme?
No, you don't have to wait in the queue with your group. The group leader can report to our special group entrance, to the left of the normal visitors' entrance.

Is it possible to arrange a guided group visit to the Anne Frank House?
No, we do not provide any guided tours of the Anne Frank House. The museum is inevitably rather cramped in places, and standing still with a group for a long time could block the flow of visitors.

How long does an Introductory programme last?
The duration of the introductory program is 30 minutes after which your group will visit the house without a guide. The programmes follow immediately after one another, so it is not possible to extend the time of the programme. We therefore advise you to arrive on time.

In what languages can I book an introductory programme?
You can book an introductory programme in Dutch, English or German.

Can I cancel my program?
Only educational programs and introductory programs can be cancelled, not group visits. You can cancel your educational or introductory program up to three weeks before the planned date.

How can I cancel my program reservation?
You can only cancel your program by emailing: reservations@annefrank.nl
Please state the name of your school or other organisation, and the planned date and time of the program. The cancellation confirmation we will send you is your proof of cancellation. If you do not receive a cancellation confirmation, please call us on +31 (0)20 556 7100 and ask for the museum administration desk. You can cancel your program up to three weeks before the planned date. If you cancel later than that, the program charge will not be refunded.

How can I change my program reservation?
You can let us know about any changes by emailing: reservations@annefrank.nl
As well as the new details, please state the name of your school or other organisation, and the date and time of the program.

The dog ate my reservation confirmation. What can I do?
If you no longer have your reservation confirmation you can bring a printout of your confirmation email as proof of your booking.

I have not received a reservation confirmation or a confirmation email. What can I do?
If your email account has a spam filter, check that your confirmation email has not been filtered out. If you still cannot find your confirmation email, please contact us at: reservations@annefrank.nl

I have forgotten the time of my reservation. What should I do?
If you no longer know the time of your reservation, you can contact us by email. In your email, let us know the school or organisation you belong to, and we will send you the confirmation again. Please send your email to reservations@annefrank.nl

What happens to the information I send you?
Please see our Disclaimer.

Is it also possible to book a lunch for my group?
Some program times offer the possibility to book a lunch in the museum café at the end of your visit. You pay for the lunch online. Please see: lunch.

What are the program times for which can I book a lunch?
Our museum café staff want to ensure that you can have lunch and talk over your visit to the Anne Frank House undisturbed for one hour. It is not possible to book a lunch for all program times and still provide you with the best possible service. Below is an overview of program times for which lunch bookings can be made.

Weekends: 10.00 AM and 12.00 noon.
