FAQ
No large bags
Due to the lack of a cloakroom, as well as for security reasons, it is not possible to visit the Anne Frank House with a large backpack, travel bag or trolley. You can leave your luggage in a locker at the Central Station or in your hotel.
Hand luggage
The use of small bags is usually allowed if these are carried in hand at all times, and are not placed on the ground. Luggage placed on the ground will be removed from the museum immediately. The Anne Frank House does not accept liability for losing luggage as a result of this.
Baby buggies
The Anne Frank House is not accessible for baby buggies. You can leave the baby buggy in the central hall, to the right of the information desk. You should make sure the baby buggy is empty of all luggage.
Mobile telephones, making films and taking photos are not allowed
We request that you do not make films or take photos at the house. This can damage the vulnerable originals and it is disturbing for other visitors. We request you to switch off your mobile phone.
Dogs not allowed
It is not allowed for visitors to bring along animals or other pets.
During the visit to the Anne Frank House, the visitor conditions apply. These conditions have been registered with the Chamber of Commerce of Amsterdam under no. 33129466.
