The Secret Annex

This is the garden side of the Secret Annex with the hiding place. The ground floor is the Opekta warehouse. The two windows above it are the office kitchen (left) and the executive office. Over those are the rooms of Anne Frank and Fritz Pfeffer (left) and of Otto, Edith, and Margot Frank (right). On the third floor is the room of Hermann and Auguste van Pels. Peter’s room is behind theirs. Under the roof are the attic with the supplies and a loft, where Anne and Peter could look out without being seen.
