1926 Peter van Pels is born

Peter van Pels was born on 8 November 1926 in Osnabrück, Germany. He was the son of Hermann van Pels and Auguste van Pels-Röttgen. He was an only child. Although his father was born near Osnabrück, he was Dutch by birth; therefore, Peter and his mother also had Dutch citizenship. Auguste van Pels came from Buer, Germany. She married Hermann in 1925.
