Daily democracy

Daily democracy Democracy may seem remote and vague, but actually we see what it means all around us every day. In the Netherlands this means you can say what you want, follow all sorts of different media, make friends with everyone, fall in love with anyone, and lots more. And it is all thanks to democracy/all because of democracy. Hidden in the drawing in this digital lesson are various examples of democracy.

LessonUp

In this exercise learners will discuss what democracy is. How we encounter it every day. Learners have to identify things in the drawing that have something to do with democracy and colour them in. The Lesson-up exercise gives a short pull-down panel for each highlighted section, explaining the link with democracy. But you and your learners may find other things also related to democracy.
