On the occasion of Anne’s birth, Otto and Edith presented the Könitzer family, their downstairs neighbours in Frankfurt am Main, with a mechanical children’s gramophone. The four accompanying records contain German children’s songs. In 1994, Otto Könitzer donated the gramophone and the records to the Anne Frank House.
