Juultje was a classmate of Anne’s at the Sixth Montessorischool. She was murdered in extermination camp Sobibor on 9 July 1943.
Anne’s own autograph book, which she writes about in her diary, was lost. The autograph books of two other classmates, Mary Bos and Bep van Groot-Battavé, also contain verses written by Anne. These autograph books have survived and are part of the Anne Frank House Collection.
