Scale model - part 1

Otto Frank wanted the Secret Annex to remain empty. It symbolised the emptiness he felt as the only survivor of the eight people who had lived there in hiding. He had this model made in 1961. It gives visitors an impression of what the interior looked like when they lived there.

This is the floor accommodating the Frank family, Fritz Pfeffer, and the shared laundry room.
